Guojie obtained his PhD degree in the field of marine biology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2015-2019) and mainly focused on marine extremophiles in the hadal environment. He joined the Institute of Deep Sea Science and Engineering (IDSSE) as a research scientist (2019-2020). During Guojie’s postdoctoral training experience at Shenzhen University (2020.7-2022.6), he mainly focused on coastal marine antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs). In July 2022, he joined Guomics as a research scientist for gut microbiome analysis at Westlake University.
